The Manitowoc County Historical Society is bringing some of its photo collection online.
The society reports that it has successfully converted its collection data to the Catalogit digital collections management system, which enables the group to enter, track, and update information about all objects and records in its collection, making them publicly accessible for scholarship, exhibition creation, and more.
The collection allows visitors to explore the Historical Society’s Daryl Cornick Collection.
It includes a sample of over 3,000 images taken by renowned photographer Daryl Cornick of Manitowoc County.
Photographs were donated to the Manitowoc County Historical Society in 2015 by Cornick and include more than 3,000 negatives labeled with dates, names, and events spanning several decades.
The historical society is continuing its online digital collection for the community to enjoy, explore, and reminisce.
You can find the online collective at manitowoccountyhistory.org/online-collection.
