
There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (October 7th).
First up is the Personnel Committee, which will be in the County Admin Building at 4:30 p.m. where they will hear comments from the public.
Then, after discussing the hiring of a new Court Commissioner, the group will review the 2026 budget and health insurance plan before looking over recruitment and retention in the Highway Department.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the County Board of Supervisors will meet in the Board Room to view County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer’s proposed 2026 budget.
Corporation Counsel Peter Conrad will also give a presentation regarding the budget process.
A public hearing regarding the 2026 Annual Budget will be held on October 27th.
