A faculty member at the Two Rivers Senior Center has been honored for her support.
The Senior Center has shared that Supervisor Heather Ihlenfeldt has received the Rising Star Award from the Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers (WASC).
This award is given in recognition of an individual who is emerging as a leader in senior services by going above and beyond in their support of older adults in their communities.
In their announcement, the Senior Center also noted that they have renewed their accreditation with WASC, a process that takes place every six years.
Receiving this accreditation means that the Two Rivers Senior Center’s programs, services, and operations meet the highest standards of excellence.
They continued to say, “This is the first accreditation renewal under Heather’s leadership, and it’s a testament to her dedication, passion, and commitment to making the Senior Center a welcoming, enriching place for all.”
