An Eastern Wisconsin legislator is being tasked with addressing government efficiency.
Representative Paul Tittl of Manitowoc was named to Assembly Speaker Robin Vos’ Task Force on Government Efficiency and Modernization, which will be chaired by 98th District Representative Jim Piwowarczyk.
The purpose of the task force is to look at how state agencies operate and how the use of smarter technology could reduce costs, improve service, and eliminate unnecessary red tape.
Specifically, the group will focus on replacing outdated, redundant processes with modern tools, reducing administrative overhead through automation, and integrating systems across agencies to avoid duplicate work.
Rep. Tittl said of his appointment, “I am honored to have been selected by Speaker Vos for this assignment. The taxpayers of Wisconsin deserve innovation within government.”
