Sheboygan Parks are beginning to wind down for the season.
The City’s Department of Public Works has provided a seasonal park update with many changes on the horizon as summer turns to fall.
Earlier this week, Evergreen Park on the City’s north side was closed off to vehicular traffic, and all open-air shelters and picnic areas were closed for the fall and winter seasons.
Elsewhere, most park restrooms across Sheboygan will begin to close for the season on October 15th.
However, park restrooms at the Deland Community Center and at the Shaw Family Playground’s Grace Pavilion will remain available.
Portable restroom amenities located at Vollrath Park, the South 18th Street dog run, Jaycee Quarry Park disc golf course, the South Pier Drive turnaround, and Maywood Environmental Center will also remain available while all other portable restrooms across City parks will be removed at the end of October.
More information on the upcoming changes at parks throughout Sheboygan can be found on the Sheboygan DPW Facebook page.
