The Sheboygan Lakers Ice Center is experiencing some major changes ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Ice Center’s kick-off meeting will be held on October 15th at 6:30 p.m., where attendees will have the chance to see these changes, which have been described as a “new chapter of rebirth and rebranding.”
Around the rink, significant upgrades have been made both inside and out, including foundation and masonry work on the exterior.
Inside, a new ventilation system was installed, along with new paint, updated locker rooms, and signage to make the space more inviting for hockey players, figure skaters, and spectators.
However, the changes do not stop there.
Erin Lindow, Sheboygan Lakers President, has shared that Shane Stout has joined the team and will serve as the new General Manager of the Ice Center.
Stout comes into the role with almost 20 years in the hockey world, including stops with the Detroit Red Wings and Florida Panthers.
Additionally, Blake Brazil will soon assume the role of the Ice Center’s new Arena and Ice Operations Technician.
At the kick-off meeting, plans for further upgrades, including the addition of a second sheet of ice, will be discussed.
