A local recovery center is gearing up for a yearly fundraiser next month.
The Lighthouse Recovery Community Center will hold its 8th annual Dose of Hope event on November 7th at Lakeshore College.
Each year, this event aims to raise awareness, reduce the stigma surrounding substance abuse disorder, and raise money to support the work Lighthouse does at both its Manitowoc and Sheboygan locations.
Dose of Hope will have raffle baskets, a silent auction, live music, and a presentation of the Recovery Ally Awards.
Currently, Lighthouse Manitowoc and Sheboygan are in the process of announcing each person and organization in the running for this year’s Recovery Ally Awards.
Tickets to attend the event are available for purchase and will cost $50 in advance and $65 at the door for general admission, while Lighthouse members and award nominees will pay $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
For more information on the 8th Annual Dose of Hope fundraiser, including a link to purchase tickets in advance at a discounted rate, visit lighthouserecoverycommunitycenter.org.
Recovery Ally Award nominees can be viewed by visiting either of the Sheboygan or Manitowoc Lighthouse Facebook pages.
