Three are in custody after fleeing from authorities in Fond du Lac County.
A Deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle on Tuesday (September 30th) matching the description of one that had been a part of a pursuit with the Wisconsin State Patrol on I-41.
Upon observing his own violations, the deputy activated his lights and siren near South Main Street in the City of Fond du Lac.
However, the driver continued on, increasing to speeds of as high as 80 MPH.
A second Deputy was in position with a tire deflation device along Main Street, which the driver hit at 80 MPH, causing three of the vehicle’s tires to go flat.
Despite the three flat tires, the driver would continue onto Highway 175 before pulling over in the Township of Byron.
The vehicle operator, a 26-year-old Green Bay woman, was taken into custody on charges of Felony Fleeing and Eluding an Officer and Second-Degree Reckless Endangering Safety.
The passengers, 24- and 26-year-old Green Bay men, were also arrested and handed charges including Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, amongst others.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was aided in the five-mile pursuit by the Fond du Lac Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
