A person was killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning following a police chase in Eau Claire.
Officers began pursuing a speeding driver shortly after 2:30 a.m. near West Clairemont Avenue and Craig Road.
The suspect, who had turned off their headlights in an attempt to flee, collided with another vehicle.
The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect has been arrested and faces criminal charges.
