A local health care provider will be offering free health screenings later this month.
Lakeshore Community Health Care has announced that the free adult screening event will be held on October 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will take place at both their Manitowoc and Sheboygan locations.
For no cost, those interested will be able to get screenings for breast cancer, blood pressure, diabetes, a dental health check, or a take-home colon cancer test.
Participants will also be able to receive vaccinations; however, an assessment and prior scheduling will be required.
Any adults looking to receive a free health screening are asked to call 920-395-2981, extension 149, to schedule an appointment. Lakeshore Community Health Care is located at 2719 Calumet Avenue in Manitowoc and 1721 Seamann Avenue in Sheboygan.
