Numerous local products were highlighted in a new poster created by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.
The poster showcases 51 products made around Wisconsin as the organization looks to teach Wisconsinites about all of the amazing things made in our state.
WMC President & CEO Kurt R. Bauer calls manufacturing, “Wisconsin’s economic super sector,” noting that “nearly 9,000 manufacturers generate $73.7 billion in economic activity each year.”
Among the local items included on the poster are the custom yachts made by Manitowoc Burger Boat and the canned and frozen veggies packaged at Lakeside Foods.
Sheboygan County companies on the poster include Sargento Foods in Plymouth, Jolly Good Soda in Random Lake, and Old World Wisconsin in Sheboygan.
Several items from Green Bay and Appleton are also included on the poster, which can be viewed at WMC.org.
