Manitowoc Lutheran and Reedsville meet in a Big East conference girls volleyball match in Reedsville tonight.
Even though they may be opponents on the court, both schools are teaming up to participate in the annual “Dig Pink Night”.
This is a national campaign put on by the Side Out Foundation that unites players and fans to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research.
Some activities include, but are not limited to, selling specially designed “Dig Pink” t-shirts and other merchandise, bake sales, and concession stands that sell pink-themed treats and beverages.
Other girls’ volleyball matches include Manitowoc Lincoln at West De Pere, Mishicot visits St. Mary Catholic, Sheboygan Christian travels to Oshkosh to battle Valley Christian, Random Lake hosts Sheboygan Lutheran, Ashwaubenon travels to Sheboygan North, Howards Grove hosts Oostburg, Cedar Grove/Belgium is at Ozaukee, and Denmark has a road trip to Waupaca.
Elsewhere, Kewaunee heads to Hortonville, Hilbert hosts Kohler, Bay Port is at Green Bay Southwest, Notre Dame is home for Green Bay Preble, De Pere travels to Pulaski, Green Bay East hosts Shawano, and Green Bay West entertains the Seymour Thunder.
