Road work in Sheboygan County will continue this week as projects near completion.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will again have crews out on State Highways 28 and 32 this week.
Highway 28 in the Village of Cascade has been completely reopened to traffic after the months-long closure due to an extensive bridge replacement project.
However, this week, crews will be out performing the final project cleanup, and a flagging operation will be used until cleanup is completed.
The closure on Highway 32 between County Road V and Sheboygan remains in place as work progresses on the resurfacing and culvert replacement project.
This week, contractors will continue milling and laying new asphalt.
This milling work is expected to reach Cedar Grove by the end of the week.
Motorists are still asked to utilize Interstate 43 and County Road V during the closure.
