The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore is inviting older residents to help boost their brain and memory.
The Dementia Care Specialist with the ADRC will be hosting a six-week course called “Boost Your Brain and Memory,” with classes held every Monday from October 13th through November 17th.
This will be an instructor-led class with a holistic and evidence-based approach to improving brain health, and will teach new habits to help attendees maintain cognitive health as well as practice new skills for better memory performance.
This program is intended for those who are not diagnosed with dementia to learn ways they can lower their risk of developing dementia.
Registration is required, and there is no cost.
Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all six classes.
