Many workers in Sheboygan County will soon be out of work after a printing company announced its upcoming closure.
In a letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Sheridan Random Lake has announced that it will be closing its printing facility, located at 100 Industrial Avenue, permanently on February 28, 2026.
With this entire closure of their facility, the company will begin eliminating positions on November 21st and continue to do so in phases until the closure is complete.
As this closure is permanent, all 104 Sheridan Random Lake employees will be without a job, including eight salaried workers and 96 hourly positions.
The closure was prompted by a significant downturn in business at this location for the Sheridan company.
In their letter to the DWD, Sheridan stated, “The company will ensure that employees will be paid all earned wages and agreed upon benefits at the time of their termination.”
