Some area sheriff’s offices dealt with some major accidents yesterday (September 26th).
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office announced yesterday that they closed the northbound lane on Interstate 43 near County Road T due to a semi that went into a ditch.
The roadway was later reopened yesterday afternoon after the semi was pulled out.
In Kewaunee County, Highway 54 from Crevice Road to County Road C was closed while crews worked on a crash in the Village of Casco.
Wisconsin Public Service was also called to restore power in the area, hinting the crash could have involved a vehicle hitting power lines.
The roadway has also since been reopened.
Neither department said whether anyone was injured during the incidents.
