The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is seeking public feedback on a proposed project in Manitowoc County.
The DOT has shared that they will be holding a public involvement meeting (PIM) to show proposed upgrades on State Highway 32 in Kiel.
The meeting will take place on October 1st at 5:00 p.m. inside the Kiel Community Center and focus on a proposed roundabout, bridge replacement, and full pavement replacement on 32.
These improvements would come between State Highway 67 and County Road AA, and as of now, construction is planned to begin in 2029.
The DOT is holding this PIM to review the project with residents, educate on what is currently planned, and to begin a dialogue to receive feedback in an open house format.
This proposed road project in Kiel is said to be addressing safety concerns and poor pavement conditions, while enhancing ride quality.
