Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin has announced it will temporarily stop providing abortion services beginning October 1st.
The decision follows a new federal law tied to President Trump’s tax and spending legislation, which blocks Medicaid funding for abortion providers.
The organization is working to accommodate as many patients as possible before the change takes effect.
They are also coordinating with other healthcare providers in the state for patient referrals.
