It’s a busy day for local and area female athletes.
The Manitowoc Lincoln girls’ volleyball team hosts Sheboygan North tonight in an FRCC dual meet at the JFK.
The Ships are one of four teams that are off to a 2-0 start in conference play, while the Golden Raiders are 1-1 in conference.
Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Other matches include Roncalli hosting Kiel, Two Rivers hosting Valders, Brillion hosting New Holstein, Sheboygan Falls visiting Chilton, Denmark hosting Oconto Falls, and Kewaunee traveling to Southern Door.
Also, Sturgeon Bay entertains Gibraltar, Green Bay NEW Lutheran heads to Sevastopol, Green Bay Preble is home for Green Bay Southwest, Notre Dame ventures to De Pere, Pulaski travels to Ashwaubenon, Bay Port hosts West De Pere, Menasha visits Fox Valley Lutheran, and Oconto travels to Peshtigo to battle the Bulldogs.
In girls’ tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts Pulaski on senior and parents’ night at Lincoln Park, and Roncalli/Two Rivers travels to Kohler to meet the Blue Bombers.
Also, the final leg of both the varsity and junior varsity FRCC girls golf meets teed off at 9:00 a.m. at Wander Springs.
In girls’ swimming, Chilton hosts a meet that includes Two Rivers and Sheboygan Christian, and Kohler hosts a triangular that includes Kiel and Berlin.
