
The woman who collided with Jason and Tina Prigge over a year ago is set to enter a plea later this year.
30-year-old Kaitlyn F. Cress is due back in Branch 1 of the Shawano County Courthouse on November 3rd for her plea hearing in front of Judge Katherine Sloma.
In total, Cress has been charged with two counts each of Reckless Driving-Cause Great Bodily Harm, 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Operate with Restricted Controlled Substance, four counts of Injury by Use of a Vehicle while Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, and single counts of 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Deviating from Lane of Traffic, Operating Left of Center Causing Great Bodily Harm, Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance.
Jason and Tina Prigge were riding their motorcycles back from a road trip on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, when Cress crossed over the center line near the intersection of County Road R and Lily Pond Road, colliding with the couple.
