A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly firing shots at police officers.
The officers involved were responding to a mental health welfare call from his mother.
The incident occurred on Thursday, and the teen was taken into custody as he tried to leave the home.
Authorities later found 34 dogs inside the residence.
The animals were removed by Milwaukee Animal Control, and the teen now faces an investigation for attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
