A few more details have been released regarding the “critical incident” that is under investigation in Manitowoc.
Assistant Police Chief John Musial has confirmed with SeehaferNews.com that his officers were dispatched for a shots-fired call just after 1:30 a.m.
He clarified that no law enforcement was involved in the shooting.
It is not clear if the shooting occurred at the home/apartment complex in the 2400 block of Dewey Street or in the area around 17th and Hamilton Streets.
Police on the scene of the Dewey Street investigation confirmed earlier this morning that there is no danger to the public at this time.
Additional details are expected in a press release later this afternoon.
