Manitowoc Police are investigating an incident on the city’s south side this morning (September 23rd).
Police blocked off two areas, one in the 2400 block of Dewey Street and on a portion of South 17th Street.
The area appears to be at an apartment complex on Dewey and a private residence next door.
Eastbound traffic on Dewey Street has been diverted and will be reopened once the investigation into the incident is done.
Police officers on the scene tell SeehaferNews.com that there is no danger to the public.
Assistant Police Chief John Musial released a statement, where he called the ongoing situation an investigation of a “critical incident,” but to protect the integrity of the investigation, “limited details will be released at this time.”
