The woman who is accused of poisoning a salad remains in the Manitowoc County Jail.
31-year-old Kasey-Ann Elizabeth Loiselle was given a $5,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa on charges of Placing Foreign Object in Edibles and Administering Dangerous or Stupefying Drugs.
As of this morning, she has yet to furnish the bail and remains behind bars.
The Manitowoc Detective unit was brought onto the case on August 25th and learned about a lengthy phone call between the victim and Loiselle where she allegedly said, “I really didn’t want you to die,” and “I *expletive* up and I never should have done that.”
She also claimed that the poisoning was planned with a male co-conspirator, who denied any involvement.
The only condition of her bail is that Loiselle was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
She is due back in Court on September 29th for her in initial appearance in Branch 4.
