While some projects are nearing completion, road construction will again close numerous roads in Sheboygan County this week.
In the City of Sheboygan, Pennsylvania Avenue and the intersection of Wilgus Avenue and North Taylor Drive remain closed for extended projects.
However, beginning today (September 22nd), there will be a daily moving lane closure on east and westbound State Highway 23 between County Road P and Highway 32.
This moving lane closure will remain in place until Thursday (September 25th) until 4:00 p.m., allowing crews to perform pavement repairs.
In Cascade, the Highway 28 bridge is open to traffic, and flagging operations will be in place as beamguard and pavement work finishes up.
While the portion of State Highway 32 between Cedar Grove and County Road V was reopened last week, 32 remains closed from V to Sheboygan Falls.
Today on the closed portion, crews will begin asphalt grinding before surface work starts up tomorrow (September 23rd).
During the remainder of the project, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of October, drivers are asked to use I-43 and County Road V in the meantime.
