Some area companies have qualified to possibly be the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.”
It’s the 10th year for the contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, which allows residents to vote on what they think is the best product made in the Badger State.
The closest item nominated from the Manitowoc County area is Carbliss, a handcrafted cocktail, which originates from the Kiel area.
Numerous products from Sheboygan County made the list of 148, including Miesfeld’s Triangle Market’s No-Salt Bratwurst, the Sheboygan Bratwurst Pasty from the Sheboygan Pasty Company, and donuts from Sandy Dough Donuts.
Other items that made the list include Sargento Natural American Sliced Cheese from Sargento in Plymouth, Wave-Point Drills from Sharon-Cutwell Company in Belgium, and Salted Carmel Moonshine from Duck Creek Winery/Denmark Distilling in Denmark.
You can find the full list online of nominees at madeinwis.com.
The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin will be crowded at Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce’s Business Day on October 23rd.
