A Manitowoc-based non-profit is looking to raise money to help a local family.
The Harper Group will be at Festival Foods on September 27th for its annual Pumpkin Blow Out and Brat Fry, with proceeds going towards the family of a 6-month-old girl who is suffering from issues with the growth plate in her skull.
She has had to have surgeries and will need additional care for some time.
Brian and Lori Rasmussen started The Harper Group after their granddaughter began her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of just 2 and a half.
Since then, they have given over $13,000 to families in need.
