A regional marketing and economic development corporation in Northeastern Wisconsin has named a new leader.
New North has announced that they have picked Patti Habeck to serve as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.
This change in leadership comes after the retirement of former CEO Barb LaMue in May 2025.
Prior to taking on this role, Habeck was the President and CEO of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin since 2011, which grew to be the largest hunger-relief organization in Wisconsin under her leadership.
Looking forward to the work on the horizon with New North, Habeck said, “The mission of New North is to collaborate with community partners and stakeholders, and that is something I enjoy and excel at. I look forward to building on the successes of Barb LaMue and her team.”
Habeck is a strong representation of the Wisconsin education system, having received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Eau Claire before getting her master’s at UW-Platteville.
