The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a vehicle involved in a high-speed chase.
A Sergeant with the department spotted a silver 2024 VW Jetta with a Georgia license plate traveling at speeds over 140 MPH on I-41 early Thursday morning.
Additional agencies were alerted to the situation, and a chase ensued.
The drive sped up even more, passing vehicles on the shoulder and striking a construction barrel.
The chase was terminated for the safety of law enforcement and other drivers on the road after a seven-minute chase, which spanned an estimated 15 miles.
