Improvements are coming to the Sheboygan County Airport.
The Sheboygan County Board met Tuesday evening, where they voted to approve a five-year capital plan.
WHBL reports that among numerous items approved on the plan was the reconstruction of a runway, which is a part of a multi-year project, and the continued construction at the south County Shed.
The exact cost of the project was not included in the report, but the County will not be footing the entire bill.
The Bureau of Aeronautics and the FAA will be helping by covering roughly 90% of the total cost.
