Two people are dead following a crash in Jefferson County on Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office reports that a semi-truck veered off the road in the town of Cold Spring.
It then collided with an SUV carrying two individuals.
Both the driver and passenger in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
