An Eastern Wisconsin Senator is the leading voice in a joint resolution to honor the late Charlie Kirk.
Senator Andre Jacque, along with Representative Chuck Wichgers, has brought forward the resolution to shine a light on the work of Kirk and his organization, Turning Point USA.
The duo noted that “Kirk was an inspiration to so many young adults and lost his life doing what he most loved, engaging in dialogue with large gatherings of students… His commitment to free speech and kindness to political or ideological opponents will leave a cultural void that can never be perfectly filled.”
The resolution will be making the rounds in Madison for co-sponsorship through next Wednesday (September 24th).
