A police chase in Milwaukee ended in tragedy late Wednesday night.
At around 9:30 p.m., officers attempted to stop a reckless driver who refused to pull over.
The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle slammed into another car near 35th and Vliet Street.
Three people in the struck car were killed, while two others were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the 19-year-old suspect driver was taken into custody, and charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
