Sheboygan County’s Emergency Communications Center has been recognized for its achievements in medical dispatch.
The Communications Center has shared that they have been named an Accredited Center of Excellence in Emergency Medical Dispatch.
The distinction comes from the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch and remains in effect until September 8th, 2028.
Being named an Accredited Center of Excellence in Medical Dispatch means that Sheboygan County’s dispatchers perform above industry standards while maintaining a daily commitment to quality care for their community.
Of over 3,500 agencies, Sheboygan County’s dispatch has become just the 361st center to receive this honor across the globe.
In their announcement, the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center gave thanks to each one of their dispatchers, stating that they were the ones responsible for turning this ambition into a reality.
