The Republican Party of Manitowoc County is remembering a prominent voice in their party this week.
The group is hosting a candlelight vigil for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Friday (September 19th) at 7:00 p.m.
Kirk was a major influence in their party and the founder of Turning Point USA.
He was shot and killed at Utah Valley University at the age of 31 last week.
The suspect in his death, Tyler Peterson, is facing state and possible federal charges.
The Manitowoc County Democratic Party will also be hosting a community rally this week.
