The Manitowoc Lincoln girls tennis team picked up multiple wins over the weekend in Kaukauna.
In total, the Ships team won 11 of its 18 matches Saturday, with the #double tandem of Taylor Peterson and Jordin Popp going 3-0 on the day.
Not only did they go unbeaten, but the top doubles team only dropped three sets.
The Ships’ #2 double team of Candence Fischer and Julia Jagemann also had a successful day, taking two out of three matches, as did Breleigh Kowalski and Elighana Camacho, the #3 doubles duo.
In singles play, Sophia Levihn went 1-2 in #1 singles play, as did #2 singles player Hannah Brown.
In #3 singles, Aurora Jones split her two matches, as did Maddie Black in #4 singles.
Marshfield was the most successful team at the invitational, claiming 16 victories, followed by Plymouth with 13.
Shawano tied with Manitowoc Lincoln with 11 wins, while Grafton had 5, Fox Valley Lutheran claimed 4 matches, and Kaukauna had none.
The Ships will be back in action tonight as they host West De Pere at Lincoln Park.
