A 68-year-old woman is under investigation after police discovered seven Great Danes in a parked van on Saturday afternoon.
When they were discovered, police found that two of them were already dead.
The surviving dogs showed signs of heat stroke, and three were later euthanized due to their condition.
The woman told authorities she left the dogs in the vehicle while she went to work.
Charges of animal mistreatment are pending as the case remains under investigation.
