The City of Manitowoc is inviting the public to learn more about a proposed zoning code rewrite.
All residents are welcome to attend the open house and presentation of the rewrite next Wednesday (September 24th) in the Council Chambers in City Hall.
The open house will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a presentation by a project consultant at 6:00 p.m.
The zoning code rewrite aims to modernize and simplify the code, ensure it responds better to market conditions, and supports high-quality development.
The code was developed following a year of staff and consultant collaboration and reflects community input received in Fall 2024.
