The early EWC girls’ tennis standings have several teams within striking distance of the top spot.
Kohler currently sits #1 with a 3-0 record as they toppled Sheboygan Falls, Lourdes Academy, and Ripon; however, St. Mary Catholic isn’t too far behind.
The Zephyrs sit at 2-0 with wins over Roncalli-Two Rivers and Lourdes Academy, while Sheboygan Falls is in the #3 spot with a record of 3-1.
The Falcons have earned wins over Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake, Ripon, and Roncalli-Two Rivers. Sitting 4th is the Roncalli/Two Rivers Co-op, which is at an even 2-2 record with wins over Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake and Lourdes Academy.
Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake does have one conference win on the season, a 6-1 victory over Ripon, who, alongside Lourdes Academy, sit at 0-3 in conference play.
All squads, aside from Kohler, are slated to compete against EWC opponents this week, including the Zephyrs hosting Ripon today.
