There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (September 15th) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Committee of the Whole, which will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
They will look over a letter of interest submitted by Jodi Brey to fill the vacant District 4 Aldermanic seat before entering a closed session to discuss the potential acquisition of some property.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the Chambers, where they will approve Brey’s appointment to the District 4 seat and administer her oath of office.
Mayor Justin Nickels will make appointments to various committees before the Council reviews a $500,000 Brownfield Grant for environmental site assessments and remedial planning activities throughout the city.
