There is a new housing development coming to the City of Kiel.
The housing, which will be built by MF Housing Partners, will bring new multi-family housing called Corner View Cottages, which will be located on the corner of Cemetery Road and Industrial Drive in the city.
The 44-unit development will include four buildings, with three of them containing twelve units and one building containing eight, with a clubhouse.
Each unit will have garage parking and will include an additional 24 outdoor spaces.
Unlike other housing units, the cottages will be a single story to allow for senior living.
City Administrator Dave Funkhouser told the city council last week that he is excited for the development and what it can bring to Kiel.
He says it also fits a need for more housing in the community. The city council approved the development agreement unanimously.
It’s unknown when construction on the houses will start.
