Numerous members of the Sheboygan County SaberCats are being recognized with postseason honors.
Making the Midwest United Football League’s 1st Team honors were Quarterback Justin Billiot, Running Back Larry Rivers III, Wide receivers Kaden Summerville and Steve Strong, Left Guard Jabari McNeal, Right Guard Dequan Hunter, Cornerbacks Anthony Veriha and Zay Kelly, Linebackers Cory Oligney, and JayVaughn Peterson, Defensive Linemen Malcom Love and James Hicks, Special Teamer Mykael Coleman, Kicker Elliot Bowker, and Kick Returner Antonio Fontanez.
The MWUFL runners-up also had numerous mentions on the 2nd team squad, including Right Tackle Nick Endres, Safety Brysen Roulette, Linebacker Faizon Thomas, Tight End Adam Anderson, Punter Elliot Bowker, Long Snapper Pat Bolden, and Defensive End Rome Jones.
Punt Returner Zay Kelly, Left Tackle Kyle Hiem, Linebacker Dashawn Webber, Wide Receivers Ty Nelson and Tarrel Jackson, Defensive Lineman Teko Powell, and Fullback Chris Ford were honorable mentions.
The 2025 SaberCats will get one more chance to play as a team, as they will take on the KC Panthers in the Tier 1 Midwest Championship as a part of the National Bowl Series Events on September 27th.
