A Fond du Lac County home has been destroyed by a fire.
WHBL reports that the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 4:20 yesterday morning (September 11th) reporting that a home on Century Drive in the Village of Campbellsport was on fire.
Multiple agencies arrived on the scene to find flames bursting from the windows. Everyone was already outside, so fire suppression tactics were quickly implemented.
The fire was extinguished, but not before the structure was deemed a total loss.
The homeowner was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital, while one of the two family cats is unaccounted for.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Campbellsport Fire Department was aided by fire crews from Eden, Mount Calvary, Beechwood, Kewaskum, Lomira, Cascade, Kohlsville, and Brownsville.
