Lakeland University and the City of Neenah are partnering to educate seniors next month.
The two entities will be hosting the School for Seniors event on October 3rd at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Neenah, beginning at 8:45 a.m.
This educational event has been held annually since 2016.
The day will be split into three sessions, offering those in attendance guidance and tips in three dedicated areas.
Session one will be called Maintain Your Home for Safety and Comfort and will be led by Chip Wood and Julie Dresang of Rebuilding Together Fox Valley.
Stacy Parish of the YMCA of the Fox Cities will lead session two, Ageless Grace – Timeless Fitness for the Body and Brain.
The final session is named Protect Yourself from Common Scams with Officer Joe Benoit of the Neenah Police Department taking the lead.
This event is free to attend, and Neenah and neighboring residents are encouraged to attend.
However, seating is limited, and those hoping to go are required to RSVP no later than September 29th.
Anyone looking to attend the School for Seniors event can RSVP by calling the City of Neenah at 920-886-6125 or by visiting lakeland.edu.
