The victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Calumet County has been identified.
Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chad Hederer said that the 89-year-old Brillion woman who died after her sedan drove into an SUV last Wednesday (September 3rd) was Nancy Wesener.
An 18-year-old Chilton woman in the SUV was stopped at the intersection of County Road E and Irish Road in the Town of Rantoul when she pulled out into the intersection.
The sedan driven by Wesener then hit her.
Failure to yield to a right-of-way appears to be a factor in the crash.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing any more details, but other information about the crash can be directed to Deputy Matsuzak at 920-849-2335.
