The Wisconsin Supreme Court is considering whether Pabst Brewing Company can be held responsible for a former contractor’s asbestos-related death.
Gerald Lorbiecki, who worked at Pabst’s bottling plant in the 1970s, developed mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos.
Following his passing, his family continued pursuing the lawsuit, arguing the company failed to provide a safe working environment.
Justices heard arguments this week as they determine if Pabst is legally liable.
