The City of Two Rivers is looking for someone to join the Zoning Board of Appeals.
The volunteer position would allow a resident to meet to review zoning variance requests. But the zoning board will only meet about three or four times a year.
Meetings are usually at 4:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month.
The Two Rivers’ zoning board plays a key role in decision-making, reviewing requests for zoning, and hearing appeals of zoning decisions.
The person picked will help ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency in how the City applies its zoning regulations.
Two Rivers residents interested in applying should send a volunteer application to City Hall, or it can be emailed to valvan@two-rivers.org.
The city is also accepting a resume if a resident wants to provide one.
