There are three meetings today (September 9th) in the City of Two Rivers.
The Explore Two Rivers Board will start the day off at 8:00 a.m. at the Violet Inn, located at 1415 16th Street, where they will get their year-to-date budget to actual report.
They will also get the Director’s report before discussing marketing for 2026.
Then, at 4:00 p.m., the Police and Fire Commission will convene in the Council Chambers, where they will enter a closed session to conduct an interview and potentially approve a promotion to the role of Police Lieutenant.
Closing out the day will be the Library Board, which will be in the Community Room in the Lester Public Library at 6:00 p.m.
After getting their usual monthly reports, the group will discuss the Theft or Mutilation of Library Material policy.
