There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (September 9th).
Up first is the Veterans Service Commission, which will be in Room 113 in the Heritage Building at 9:30 a.m.
They will hear comments from the public before reviewing applications for assistance.
Then, at 4:00 p.m., the Highway Committee will meet in the Highway Department Building, located at 3500 Highway 310.
The public will be given time to comment before discussing the 2026 Highway and Airport budgets.
The group will also take action on a High-Risk Rural Road Program project on County Road LS, and another project on County Road V, before getting an update on bridge funding.
