There are two governmental meetings scheduled for today (September 8th) in the City of Sheboygan.
Starting out the day will be the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee meeting in Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m. They will begin the night by discussing the findings in the quasi-judicial hearing held last week in regard to the licenses of the Mi Ranchito restaurant.
They will then vote on authorizing primary elections when three or more candidates file nomination papers before discussing amendment changes pertaining to dog kennel and animal fancier permits.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Works Committee will also meet inside Council Chambers.
The group is set to give authority to the City Forester to submit an application for an Urban Forestry Grant from the DNR before discussions on entering into a contract for the demolition and restoration of a city property located on North 8th Street.
